Muar Cherry

Here in Malaysia, we think berries only come from stores. There are so many types of berries grown unnoticed. Local wild berries such as kemunting are now rarely seen. People tend to plant only flowers and vegetables in their small garden plot due to lack of space. My attempt is to collect and plant the edible berries that I can find. The following photos are of a type fruit that I found in a friend's kampung (village) in Muar, Johore. The ripe fruit is red and tastes sour.
