Fishing Trip 2, Tenggol Island

These would made tasty fish soup.

Nah, I like them fried.

At 10.30 pm we were hit by storm. We couldn't go towards the coast because the storm were moving from the land. It was horrible because we were rocked by huge waves.

Ahmad Hakim, on a fishing trip. we were heading towards Tenggol Island, off Dungun Coast in South China Sea. The boat were cruising at 8 knots. It took 3 hours to reach the fishing spot.

We still could see the Dungun coast.

Bakawali

This amazing plant (Bakawali) only produces one flower in a year, if you are lucky. Its flower blooms at midnight.

One who witnessed the flower blooms is considered a very lucky person. I wish to extend the luck to you by posting these photos.

The white flower emits very sweet and nice aroma that attracts it pollenator kilometers away. In old malay movies, they portray bakawali flower as panacea that can cure any strange illness, especially the ones that were caused by black magic. Of course to get to the flower the hero have to climb a mountain higher than the Everest with all sort of obstacles... including dragons.
